Treatment

Treatment at Roberts Physical Therapy

Nine kinds of care across Amherst, Plainfield, Wisconsin Rapids and the Stevens Point and Plover YMCAs. Every one starts the same way: an evaluation of up to an hour with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and no referral needed in Wisconsin.

Walk-in clinic

Wisconsin Rapids · $250 self-pay · no appointment

Something happened this week, or an old problem flared overnight. At 621 8th Street South you can walk in or book the same day, be evaluated by a licensed physical therapist, be treated during the visit and leave with a clear plan. Dry needling is a $25 add-on, and insurance is accepted for ongoing care.

How walk-in works

Aquatic therapy

Wisconsin Rapids only

Pool work increases strength and balance while easing the pain that weight-bearing exercise can bring on. It suits chronic pain, arthritis, balance disorders, fractures, joint replacements and recovery after surgery. Your therapist decides at the first evaluation whether the pool belongs in your plan.

Sports injury therapy

Athletes of all ages

We look for the muscle imbalance or the mechanics behind the injury, build a rehab plan around your sport, and bring you back gradually with prevention coaching so the same injury does not return next season.

For runners

The Pineries Running Lab is where the walk ends and the run begins

A running evaluation pairs multi-view video gait analysis with a full strength and mobility assessment in a 90-minute session for $225. Rehab for a running injury is billed to insurance, and monthly run coaching is on its own page.
